ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Reporting to: Operations Director
Job description
Function:
Work in collaboration with the quality control manager, carry out sampling, analysis and write various reports.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the material, the instruments and the necessary solutions for analysis and experiments
- Work with laboratory equipment requiring frequent adjustments
- Take samples
- Perform quality control, R&D and production testing
- Calibrate laboratory equipment and scales
- Ensure an adequte level of inventory of chemical products necessary for the proper daily functioning of the laboratory
- Perform the compilation, acquisition and statistical processing of the data and interpret the protocoles using the appropriate hardware
- Participate in the research, fine tuning and development of new processes or products
- Perform maintenance of the material and analysis equipment according to established procedures
Academic studies:
- DCS or AEC in analytical chemistry or any other relavent training could be considered
Required experience:
- 2 years laboratory or industry experience
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the ISO 9001-2015 standard
- Must be bilingual, written and oral
- Excel intermediate or advanced level
Skills:
- Maintain good interpersonal relations
- Ability to analyse complex situations
