CONTROL PANEL OPERATOR - CHEMICAL PROCESSING

MAIN ROLE

You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the robotic production line, coordinating activities along the line. You will lead your team member(s) and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also be accountable for the quality of the final product.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate the robotic production line
• Configure the robotic line to start a production cycle
• Ensure production adheres to the schedule
• Detect and report anomalies
• Clean and maintain machinery
• Monitor performance indicators
• Ensure compliance with quality standards
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
• Control and adjust machine parameters (e.g., speed, calibration, cleaning, etc.)
• Ensure the supply of raw materials (boxes, packaging, caps, labels, etc.)
• Periodically perform functional tests
• Resolve issues that may arise during the shift
• Maintain the log of approved and defective units or finished products
• Be responsible for the final product's quality (accountable for results)
• Communicate any logistical issues during the process to the Team Leader
• Perform any other related tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor

DESIRED PROFILE

• High school diploma (DES)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in production
• At least 1 year of experience on an OCME robotic production line
• Knowledge of finished product quality standards
• Experience with ERP software
• Precision and rigor in task execution
• Goal-oriented attitude
• Ability to mobilize a work team
• Attention to detail and quality
• Good listening skills and diplomacy to manage a team
• Leadership skills
• Ability to speak French and intermediate English
