Reporting to: Production Supervisor
Responsibility: Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the position holder will be responsible for: packaging and producing finished products; placing empty containers on production lines and full containers in crates and ensuring packaging compliance throughout the production process; sorting (palletizing) crates or containers of finished products onto pallets according to required specifications; filling and labeling containers (designated as bulk) such as kegs, drums, barrels and totes (depending on the position held); operating a forklift to transport them; assembling, disassembling, maintaining, inventorying and packaging loaned equipment for shipment; completing various ISO system reports (work orders and/or others) as required; maneuvering and moving trailers in the yard; and maintaining clean and safe work areas.
Candidate profile: speak French, possess a high school diploma or equivalent professional experience, have between six (6) months and one (1) year of experience in an industrial setting, experience operating a forklift (required), Class 1 driver's license (required), knowledge of production processes, general mechanical knowledge, computer skills, knowledge of safety regulations, versatile, commitment to quality work, good stress management, autonomy, ability to prioritize and adapt, organizational skills and efficient
Conditions: permanent position of 40 hours per week at the head office located at 9 Béland Street in L’Isle-Verte; hourly wage between $22.07 and $28.80, depending on experience; flexible leave bank, group insurance plan
